Code: DGMS

Price:  Call for Pricing

  • This system is a distributed monitoring system for 17 ammonia gas sensors in a refrigeration plant.
  • There are five zones with four of them having three 4-20 mA gas sensor inputs and one other with five 4-20 mA inputs.
  • Each zone has one Danntech Measurement and Control Interface (MCI) to monitor the various 4-20 mA inputs and three relay outputs used to activate a local alarm if the preset warning or alarm levels are exceeded for that zone.
  • A third relay indicates that one of the sensors in the zone require attention. The MCIs are connected using RS485 and then via RS485 converter to the RS232 port of a controlling PC.
  • The ammonia concentrations are displayed continuously and the measurements logged to disk.
  • Using a second RS232 port connected to a modem and PC Anywhere dial-up access is provided for remote monitoring, adjustment and data retrieval.
  • The measurement update rate is every two seconds (adjustable) with data logging every few minutes (also adjustable).
