  • In this application a monitoring system was implemented for a cheese factory in which the requirement was to be able to log the pasteurizing and CIP temperatures, flows and times for each of various parts of the plant.
  • Using an MCI (Measurement and Control Interface), an Eight Input Process Signal Multiplexer and a 16 Channel Digital Input Module and system performs a customized monitoring function.
  • In this application a PC is used for the display and data logging functions and the information is made available to any PC on the company network.
  • Additional options offered included SMS alarm monitoring of the various critical control parameters and automated e-mail reporting.
