Our range of True RMS Current and Voltage transducers provide a convenient way of converting commonly found AC currents and voltages to useful process signal levels. A high quality RMS to DC converter and precision current shunt or voltage divider forms the input stage capable of converting frequencies from DC to 10 KHz. Galvanic isolation is provided after the RMS conversion between input and output. A filter with adjustable time constant between 0 and 20 seconds is also provided for the filtering of noisy signals. Options include signal inversion and a variety of output signal types.
Applications:
Suited for use in applications which can have voltage rise times up to 100 V/mSec.

Eliminate errors due to any small non-sinusoidal or higher harmonic components in the current or voltage being measured.
AC voltages from 200 mV up to 1000 VAC using a voltage divider.
Currents from 1 A up to 25 A using an external shunt.

  • Standard input signal ranges of 0-110 VAC, 0-220 VAC, 0-400 VAC, 0-1 A AC and 0-5 A AC
  • True RMS to DC conversion.
  • Input frequency range 10 Hz to 10,000 Hz

  • Input impedance of >470 kΩ for the voltage input and less than 0.05 Ω for the current input models.
  • Maximum input signals of 500 VAC for voltage input and 5.5 A AC for the current input.

  • Output load >2 kΩ for the voltage output and 500 Ω maximum for the current output.

  • 10% over-range capability.
  • Linearity better than 0.3% of full scale.
