Settings:
To configure Echo or termination resistors, screw at the bottom cover to remove the top cover and gain access to the DIP switches.
Echo:
When DIL switch SW 1 is ON, an Echo is produced on the receive line. Several protocols use this to check data transmission validity. Default is Echo off.
Bus Termination:
( 1x220Ω and 2x390Ω). In general, both ends of a RS-485-bus should be terminated. If the device itself terminates the bus, the DIL switches SW 2-4 should be “ON”. Default is termination resistors connected.
