The Trip Alarm provides two potential free contact outputs which switch at preset levels. Both levels are set using the trimpots on the front of the unit. The switching points can be configured to be either active on rising or falling levels. A small amount of hysteresis between the switch on and switch off reduces relay chatter with noisy signals. The normally open and normally closed relay contacts are available which can switch up to 2 A at 230 VAC.
Applications:
Process signal alarms.
Simple on-off control.
Independent high or low value warning.
Can be configured for low/high, high/low, high/high or low/low alarms.
Specifications:
  • Standard input signal ranges of 0-10 V, 4-20 mA and 0-20 mA.
  • Input impedance of >1 MΩ for the voltage input and 10 Ω for the current input models.
  • Maximum input signals of 30 V for voltage input and 100 mA for the current input.
  • Potential free contact outputs.
  • Normally open and normally closed contacts for both alarms.
  • Contact rating of 230 VAC at up to 2 A.
  • Single-turn trimpot adjustment for switching setpoint on the front of the unit.
  • Input supply 115 or 230 VAC ±10% or 24 VDC.
  • Isolation between input and output >1000 VDC.
  • Operating temperature -10°C to 60°C.
  • 24 hour operational burn-in.
  • DIN rail mounting.
  • Screw terminal connections.
  • Dimensions 40 x 80 x 85 mm (W x H x D).
