The Danntech sunTXM^® RS485 is a solar radiation transmitter which is housed in a robust anodised aluminium enclosure with teflon diffuser, silicon photodiode and electronic circuitry. The sensor housing is epoxy-filled for protection of the internal components. The sunTXM^® RS485 requires power 9 to 33 V and provides an isolated RS485 interface. The outputs are proportional to incident radiation from all angles of a hemisphere.

Applications of the sunTXM^® RS485 include solar radiation measurement in agricultural, ecological and solar panel applications.
